How I lost an entire afternoon!

So, I am terrified of Dentists. I mean TERRIFIED! A bad experience as a teenager scarred me for life. So, I had to have 3 wisdom teeth and one molar pulled. I figured sedation was the way to go. One major problem, I didn't get loopy until the procedure was finished.

I was however, "relaxed" enough to not be anxious so I didn't flip out or anything. I remember the entire thing - 4 teeth out and 2 teeth repaired. I don't know what is happening to my teeth. I've always had great strong teeth but about 7 years ago - that all changed. I have no idea why though. Of course, my back started bothering me then too so who knows. Oops, I am rambling. Back to losing a whole afternoon.

Like I said, I was awake through the entire procedure. I remember talking to the nurse and telling them goodbye. I remember them telling me to call after a couple of days to check in and that I could have my cleaning done in about 2 weeks. That's where I draw a complete blank.

I don't remember getting into my inlaw's car. I don't remember walking up the steps. Although, my husband says I tried to going to the laundry room to sleep. I don't remember laying down. All I know is that hours later, I woke up with "The Secret Life of Bees" DVD still on the menu screen and me thinking I needed to pick up the boys from school.

This was at 4pm. I was put under at 9:50am. Fortunately, my inlaws picked up the boys and took all the kids out for dinner. How can you lose an entire day? I don't know but the sleep sure was nice!

Where did I go?

Well, good intentions got taken over by sick kids. I fell off the face of the internet world when all three kids got sick each - one at a time! ARGH!!!
